What exactly is an NFC business card?
A matte black plastic card the size of a credit card with a tiny NFC chip inside, the same kind of chip that makes tap-to-pay work. We laser engrave your design on the front and write your link to the chip. Hold it to the back of a phone and the link opens. No app, no battery, nothing to charge.
Which phones can read it?
iPhones from the XS onward (2018 and later) read it as soon as you hold the card near the top of the phone. Most Android phones read it too, with NFC switched on, held near the middle of the back. A small notification pops up; tap it and the link opens.
What does a card cost?
$20 per card, card included, engraved and programmed. If you ask us to design the card for you taxes and fees are added: $5 for the first design and $2 for each extra design. Tracked shipping is $5, and free on orders of $50 or more, so 3 cards or more ship free.
You can order up to 10 cards at a time. More than 10? Email us for a better price.
How long does it take?
Most orders spend about 1 to 3 days in our shop once you approve your proof, then ship tracked. An estimate, not a guarantee.
Can I change what it opens later?
Before it ships: email us your order number and we change it, free. After it ships: mail the card back and we rewrite it at no charge; you pay postage to us.
