How it works

Here is exactly what happens from the moment you design your card to the moment it is back in your hand.

    Design it with our free template

    Open the editor, drop in your text, logo or artwork, and watch it land on the card as you go. No design skills needed.

    Best on a desktop or laptop. Phones work, but the editor is easier with a bigger screen.

    The Shipping Process

    Fill out the contact form with your name and address. That is where your finished card goes back to.

  3. Two easy options: mail in your own Tesla card in a padded envelope, or order a brand-new card for us to engrave

    Mail in your own key card in a plain envelope, or add a brand-new official Tesla card to your order and skip the mailbox.

    We confirm, then engrave

    When your card arrives we check in one last time. Any final revisions happen here. Nothing gets engraved until you say go.

FAQ

Good to know before you order.

Do I have to send you my actual Tesla key card?

No. You have two options: mail us your existing card, or purchase a new blank Tesla key card from us for $25 per card. If you order a new card, we engrave it and ship it directly to you so you never have to send in your current one.

Will my card still work after engraving?

Yes. We engrave only the surface of the card and account for the embedded NFC/RFID components when setting up the laser. Our goal is to customize the card without interfering with its normal function.

If a card is damaged specifically during our engraving process, we replace it at no cost to you.

Will my card get hacked?

No. We don’t, and there’s absolutely no reason for us to. We only engrave the surface of the card. Nothing on it is read, copied, or changed.

How long does it take?

Shipping time depends mostly on your location and the carrier. Once your card reaches us, orders are completed first in, first out, with most cards spending about 1–2 business days in our shop.

You’ll also receive tracking information when your finished card is shipped back.

What can you engrave?

Pretty much whatever you can imagine.

Names, logos, artwork, characters, line art, detailed patterns, custom concepts, and more. If your idea needs to be adjusted to engrave properly, we’ll create a proof and get your approval before touching the card.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, up until engraving begins.

Before we engrave your card, we communicate with you one final time so you can approve the design or make last-minute changes. If you cancel before engraving begins, your order is refundable, including an unengraved new card if you purchased one from us.

The only amount that may not be refundable is shipping that has already been paid or used.

Once engraving begins, the customization is permanent and the order becomes non-refundable.

Do you help create the design?

Absolutely. You do not need to show up with finished artwork.

Send us an idea, picture, theme, logo, sketch, or even just describe what you’re imagining. We can help turn the concept into an engraving-ready design and send you a proof before anything is engraved.

No. We are an independent customization service and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.
