S3XY Cards

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

S3XY Cards is a custom laser engraving service run by Engraving By Silva, part of S3XY Enterprise, in Palm Bay, Florida. We engrave designs onto Tesla key cards. We are an independent business and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use s3xycards.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

2. What we collect

Plainly: the details on the order form, the design you make, and a little technical information that keeps the site working.

When you place an order

  • Contact details: first and last name, email address, and phone number.
  • Return shipping address: street, apartment or unit, city, state, and ZIP code.
  • Order details: how many cards, whether you are mailing your own card or buying a new one, and the agreements you accepted, with the time and the internet address (IP) they were accepted from.
  • Tracking numbers you give us for the card you mail in, and the ones we create to send it back.

When you design a card

  • The design you build in the online designer, including any text you type and any image, logo, or artwork you upload.
  • A written description of your idea and any reference photo or sketch you attach, if you ask us to design it for you.
  • Notes you leave about your design.

When you send feedback

  • The subject and message you write. An email address is optional and only used to reply to you.

Automatically

  • Your IP address, used to limit repeated requests (for example, to stop someone flooding the feedback form) and recorded with the agreements you accept at checkout.
  • Basic browser information (the "user agent"), recorded with your order agreements.

We do not ask for, and please do not send us, sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health information, or financial account details.

3. How we use it

Plainly: to make your card, get it back to you, and keep you informed along the way.

  • To engrave your design and prepare a proof for you to approve.
  • To email you your order number, mailing instructions, proof, and shipping updates.
  • To ship your finished card back to the address you gave us.
  • To buy a new Tesla key card for you, if you chose that option.
  • To answer your questions and act on your feedback.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
  • To keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

Plainly: only the companies that help us take payment, send email, and deliver your card. We never sell your data.

  • Stripe processes payments. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to that step.
  • Shipping carriers (such as USPS) receive your name and address to deliver your card.
  • Our web host and email provider store the site, its database, and the emails we send you.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site; your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
  • Canva and Facebook are linked from the site. If you follow those links, you are on their sites and their policies apply. We don't share your information with them.
  • If the law requires it, for example a valid court order.

Photos of finished cards may be shared on our social pages only with your permission.

5. Payments

Checkout happens on a secure page run by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid, the amount, and a reference number. We do not receive or store your card number, expiry date, or security code.

Nothing is charged until you complete a Stripe payment. If checkout is ever switched off for a preview period, prices shown are for information only.

6. Your designs and uploads

Anything you upload or create is used only to engrave your card and show you a proof. We store the design file, the laser-ready artwork we make from it, and the layout so we can reproduce your card if needed.

You keep ownership of your artwork. By uploading it you confirm you have the right to use it and you give us permission to reproduce it for your order. Please don't upload images you don't have the right to use.

Uploads are stored in a protected folder that is not reachable from the web. Proof images are shown only through a private link tied to your order.

7. Cookies and browser storage

Plainly: no advertising cookies. The designer remembers your unfinished card in your own browser, and that's about it.

  • Session storage in your browser keeps your unfinished design and form entries so you don't lose them if you refresh. It is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent anywhere except with your order.
  • A "seen it" flag remembers that the preview notice was shown so it doesn't appear again in the same visit.
  • An admin session cookie is used only by us to log in to the order management area.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, this policy will say so.

8. How long we keep it

  • Orders and designs: kept while the order is active and for as long as we need them for records, warranty questions, and taxes, typically up to seven years for the financial record.
  • Abandoned checkouts (started but never paid) are deleted periodically.
  • Feedback messages: kept while they are useful for improving the site, then deleted.
  • Email: kept in our mailbox for as long as we need it to help you.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See section 10.

9. Security

The site uses HTTPS, our database and uploads are kept in a folder blocked from the web, files are served only through private order links, and the admin area is password protected. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe.

No website can promise perfect security. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.

10. Your choices and rights

Plainly: ask, and we'll show you, fix, or delete what we have about you.

  • See it: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Fix it: ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it: ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep the basic record of a paid order for tax purposes, but we will delete everything else.
  • Say no: you can decline to give us information, though we can't make or ship a card without the order details.

To do any of these, email s3xyenterprise@gmail.com from the address on your order, or include your order number. We'll respond within 30 days. Residents of states with privacy laws (such as California) have these rights by law; everyone else has them because we think that's fair.

11. Children

This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we'll also let customers with open orders know by email.
